Very polite and polite staff of the hotel at the bell desk and concierge. Location: the property was very close to the park. Had dinner at Sakaba Ikuramokuzai, set 5 mins away on foot.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Great location, within short walking distance of everywhere. Walking distance to shopping streets and a market across the street. Absolutely fantastic and delicious breakfast to star a day with whole meal bread, Japanese options plus salads: D

The room was lovely; modern and tasteful. Bed very comfortable. Staff very attentive and helpful, especially the concierge.
Would have used the pool but they were charging an extra £10 per person. This was billed as a 5* hotel, but even the 3* hotels we have stayed in which have had pools didn't charge!

It was totally fantastic! The staff was very helpful and nice, and made our stay so enjoyable! Though it is far from the Kyoto station, I actually liked the quiet neighborhood. The room has modern Japanese deco, and was super clean. Cool bath!!
